The opinion of the court was delivered by This is an appeal by a husband from an order of the district
court refusing to terminate future alimony installments
previously awarded to the wife in a divorce decree. The wife
remarried subsequent to the granting of the divorce. The original divorce decree which became effective on February
3, 1970, provided for a division of property, custody of the
minor child of the parties and for child support. In addition the
decree provided for an award of permanent alimony to the wife in
the following language:

"IT IS FURTHER BY THE COURT CONSIDERED, ORDERED,
ADJUDGED AND DECREED That Defendant be and he is
hereby ORDERED to pay to Plaintiff through the Clerk
of the District Court of Shawnee County, Kansas, an
allowance for future support, which is by the Court
hereby denominated as permanent alimony as follows:
